To solve this clue, you’ll need to locate the iron tower and search the area for any areas where enemies have recently been defeated. At the base of the tower, you’ll find a hidden note beneath a stack of crates. The note will provide the next step in Jane’s Scavenger Hunt, guiding you closer to the next clue.
Clue 3: The Broken Clockwork
The third clue takes things up a notch. This clue is found in the mission “Clockwork Meltdown,” where you’ll be navigating a partially destroyed facility. The riddle reads: "The hands of time have stopped, yet there’s one who moves still."
In this case, the riddle refers to a large, broken clock tower in the center of the level. However, the clock itself is not the only important element. The key to solving this puzzle is to locate a special NPC in the level who holds a unique key that activates a hidden mechanism. This mechanism, when activated, opens up a secret room containing another scavenger hunt item.
The NPC in question is a character who is not directly involved in the mission but can be found standing by the tower, seemingly doing nothing. To interact with the NPC, you’ll need to approach and press the action button. He’ll reveal the hidden key and unlock the room for you.
